Ya lleva rodando un buen tiempo la nueva generación del serie 3. Usará la misma plataforma modular CLAR que ya llevan sus hermanso mayores 5 y 7, con lo que le permitiran mejorar en todas las aereas, ampliando tambien la capacidad de añadir sistemas (esperemos que la dirección trasera tambien esté disponible)

La gama de motores comprenderá motores de 3, 4 y 6 cilindros, en gasolina y diesel. Tambien habrá versión hibrida claro, con gasolina
